As winner of the BP Travel Award, Saluja visited Amritsar, India in October 2019. Her proposal was to paint portraits of volunteers at the Golden Temple’s vast free kitchen which feeds 50-100,000 people daily. The resulting work is currently on view for a live exhibit at the Aberdeen Art Gallery Museum in Scotland through January 2021, and was exhibited virtually by the National Portrait Gallery in London through October 2020 due to Covid 19. Saluja produced a 6 minute video as part of the exhibition.
